Itinerary

Upon arrival at Bhopal airport / railway station meet by our company representative who will meet and greet you and will transfer to hotel. Check-in at the hotel & Enjoy your excursion Sanchi Stupa.

Sanchi Stupa: One of the famous Buddhist shrines, Sanchi Stupa is known for its ancient art and architecture. It is located at the town of Sanchi in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh and is one of the popular tourist attractions. It was Emperor Ashoka who commissioned the design of Sanchi Stupa in Madhya Pradesh in the 3rd century B.C. The beautiful Stupa is surrounded by toranas which reflect love, peace, trust and courage. The central chamber of Stupa is made up of large hemispherical domes, which comprise of different relics of Lord Buddha. It is one of the well-preserved ancient stupas in central India and is ranked among the world Heritage sites. The entrance of the stupa is curved with beautiful sculptures which represent various Buddhist traits and adorned with grand sculptures which depicts incidents from the Life of Lord Buddha.

After visits drive back to Bhopal. Arrive Bhopal. Proceed for the city tour of Bhopal.

Taj-ul-Masjid, and admire the impressive main hall, inter-arched roof, broad facade, biggest courtyard with a shopping arcade - Taj market - around its boundary walls. Later proceed to Bharat Bhavan, the best multi-arts centre in India designed by Charles Correa. It houses a beautiful gallery, a fine art workshop, an open-air amphitheatre, a studio theatre and auditorium, museum of tribal and folk art, and libraries of Indian poetry and folk music. Evening one can enjoy the boat ride at Bhopal Lake (on direct payment basis). After visit return to the hotel. Overnight at Bhopal.

Morning after breakfast check-out from the hotel & drive to Tawa Reservoir via-visiting Bhimbetka rocks shelter caves & Bhojpur Temple.

Bhojpur: Founded by the legendary Paramara king of Dhar Raja Bhoja (1010-53 A.D) has remains of its magnificent Shivatemple and cyclopean dam. Raja (King) Bhoja was, an engineer, a warrior, a great administrator and a man of formidable vision. Bhojeshwar Temple also known as Somnath of the East is a beautifully carved and exceptionally well-designed temple of Bhojpur, Madhya Pradesh. The temple, still incomplete is not incomplete in beauty and magnificence.

The Bhojeshwar Temple is an ideal example of craftsmanship in the 12th century. Bhojeshwar Temple is divided into three sections. The exterior has a dimension of 66 feet. The intricately carved dome which too is incomplete is supported by four richly decorated pillars. The sanctum of the temple houses the lingum which is 7 feet tall and 17.8 feet broad. The lingum is placed on a platform with limestone blocks on either side.

Bhimbetka Caves: Bhimbetka caves exhibit the ancient art and rock-cut architecture of our country. It is one of the perfect places for art admirers. The Bhimbetka caves were declared as World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2003. According to Hindu Mythology, the name of the cave is associated with ‘Bhima’, one of the Pandavas of Mahabharata. Further, it is believed that Bhimbetka cave was the place where Bhima and his brothers rested after being exiled from the kingdom. The cave is home to a huge impressive collection of paintings and ancient artifacts. The intricate paintings on the walls familiarize you with the concept of ancient art and modern art, which are beyond comparison. One can see paintings of seven different eras.

After visits drive to Tawa Dam. Arrive Tawa Dam & check-in at resort.

The scenic beauty of Tawa dam and reservoir on the Tawa river is charismatic. Sunsets viewed from the dam are especially enchanting. Rest of the day will be at leisure for enjoying own activities, one can enjoy the water activities at Tawa Reservoir (on direct payment basis). Overnight in Tawa Reservoir.

Morning after breakfast one can enjoy the water activities at Tawa Reservoir (on direct payment basis). Later check-out from the hotel & take a Motor Boat (Optional) depending upon the size of the group to Madhai.

Early Morning Jeep Safari into the Satpura National Park / Tiger Reserve.

Madhai is a reserved forest and an integral part of the Satpura Biosphere Project. It is located at the entrance of the most exquisite and beautiful forests in India - Satpura. It delights you with its rich wildlife, sprawling meadows, unending backwaters and spell-binding views that leave you awestruck. During your boat / cruise transfer have an amazing wildlife and bird watching experience
Satpura National Park is one of India’s finest Tiger reserves and was the winner in 2010 of the TOFT Wildlife Tourism Award for ‘most visitor friendly’ wildlife destinations. Located south of Hoshangabad it is part of India’s Central Highlands, and gets its name from the Satpura Hill ranges, or Mahadeo hills. The striking terrain of the national park is what gives it its beauty, from extremely rugged hills and mountains with sandstone peaks, narrow water filled gorges, deep ravines, dense Sal and mixed forests, and thanks to the Tewa lake bordering the park, some delightful coves and bays, which you can explore by kayak. The altitude ranges from 300 m on the plains of Marai and Churna to Dhoopgarh peak as high as 4500 feet (1400 m).

Satpura National Park, being part of a rich Central Indian forest ecosystem, is rich in biodiversity. The wildlife comprises tiger, leopard, sambar deer, chital deer, nilgai, four-horned and chinkara antelope, Gaur (wild cow), wild boar, packs of wild dog, good sloth bear sightings, fox, porcupine, flying squirrel, mouse deer, and the colourful Indian Giant squirrel. Mugger crocodiles bask in the many coves. There are a huge variety of birds including lots of water birds, hornbill and peacocks aplenty. The flora consists of mainly of Sal and famous Bori Teak forests, but also includes Tendu, Mahua and Bel trees, a variety of bamboo species, and a variety of grasses and medicinal plants.

After breakfast check-out from the hotel & straight drive to Pachmarhi “The Queen of Satpura”. Arrive Pachmarhi & Check-in at hotel. Post lunch your day will be at leisure for your own activities. Evening enjoy dinner at hotel & Overnight in Pachmarhi.

Morning after breakfast at your hotel, proceed for the local sightseeing of Pachmarhi including Pandav Caves, Apsara Vihar, Silver water fall, Panchali Kund.

Afternoon proceed to visit Bee fall, Parasailing (by your own), Reechgarh Caves and and Eco Points. Enjoy dinner at hotel & Overnight in Pachmarhi.
